Hi, I am Danielle
Hi, I’m Danielle Turner, but most people call me Dani. I’m a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the founder of Nursing Trax & Beyond. My journey into nursing has been filled with challenges, setbacks, and perseverance—including failing out of a nursing program before eventually achieving my dream.
Through determination, I became a Licensed Vocational Nurse, later earning my BSN, a master’s degree in Nursing Administration, and ultimately becoming a Nurse Practitioner. As a single mother from Houston, Texas, I understand the challenges many aspiring nurses face while pursuing their goals. I created Nursing Trax & Beyond to provide guidance, encouragement, and real insight for those pursuing a nursing career or advancing their degree. My goal is to help you navigate your path with clarity, confidence, and the support you deserve.
Professional Experience
My professional experience spans a wide range of healthcare specialties, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of patient care and the nursing profession. Throughout my career, I have worked in nursing homes, medical-surgical units, dermatology, orthopedics, pain management, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and emergency telephone triage.
I have also gained experience in occupational health, reconstructive surgery, infectious disease, primary care, podiatry, and nursing management. These diverse experiences have shaped my perspective and allow me to provide well-rounded guidance to individuals pursuing or advancing a career in nursing.
